REI has failed to live up to it's values as a consumer cooperative that purportedly cares about it's members, workers, and the environment.
- In the past few years, instead of bargaining in good faith with REI workers, REI has chosen to waste member funds on union-busting lawyers!
- REI supported the nomination of Doug Burgum for Secretary of Interior, a Trump cabinet member who wants to turn our public lands into private profits for the few 🤮
- REI Co-op, a business democratically-controlled by the members, refuses to even allow any member to run except for their handpicked nominees 🙅♂️
This is co-op washing and an affront to the cooperative movement! Join cooperators, union workers, and community members on Saturday April 5th, 2025 as we fight back and support union workers at REI by VOTING NO and encouraging other REI members to VOTE NO against REI's Corporate Board.
