It was a pleasure to spend the weekend with some 50 local activists as we explored the principles and practice of energy democracy at the Energy Democracy Summit in Northeast Ohio! We're glad so many friends and allies were able to join us.
One highlight was Crystal Huang's keynote on Friday. Crystal is the national coordinator of the Energy Democracy Project (https://energydemocracy.us/) and a worker owner at People Power Solar Cooperative (www.peoplepowersolar.org).
She described the importance of adopting a commons mindset, as opposed to the market or charity mindset that predominates in our society.
